Hello, my name is Janice. I live with a menagerie of animals – cats, a dog, rats, and even chickens and sheep, and I love them all to pieces! I spend a lot of time reading, whether it be novels or the news (I love the articles on National Geographic.) I am fascinated by politics and how they rule the world and would love to study more in-depth how the system works (how better to make a change then to fight by the other side’s own rules?)

I spent most of my childhood running around the great outdoors, climbing trees and playing in the grass. As such, I have always had a deep love and respect for our planet, and the life on it (both plant and animal.) While in high school, I thought maybe I would be a Veterinary Technician, however, over time I realized that I wanted to fight the bigger fight. Around this time, I realized that I was very good at law – at understanding it and being able to argue it. Since that time, I have decided that the best way for me to be involved is to become an environmental lawyer, fighting for the protection of our beautiful planet.

I am currently working full time, and attending college for a Paralegal/Business Administration joint degree (this means after four years, I will get both an Associate’s Degree in Paralegal Studies, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration) full time. Upon completion, I hope to attend law school to receive my Juris Doctor as well as my Master’s Degree in Environmental Law.
